D.O.C. was the only mark they ever used on bottles. John Kazmaier Brewing operated in Altoona from 1896 to Prohibition in 1919. This bottle does not have the ounces embossed on it, therefore it was made before September 3, 1914 when the Gould Amendment to the Food and Drug Act went into effect.
