View Full Version : Embossed George Washington?

I received this bottle at a garage sale from an older man. He said it was his mother’s. I believe it is George Washington’s face (not positive) embossed on the front along with other designs. The bottle is about 6-7 inches tall. I think it has a pontilled base. There are no markings of date or company anywhere to be found on the bottle. Any thoughts of age, origin, or value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The bottles true color looks more like the first picture.

yup, a repro sorta. It isn't in the fashion of any original bottle so it is not made to look like anything but it is a collectors bottle from the 1970's or so. When bottle collecting was in its hay day many company's jumped on the band wagon putting out collectors series bottles like yours. Probably worth around 5 bucks or so...
