Does anyone here recognize these little (4.8" tall) flasks?

I think they may be toiletry bottles, but then the overall shape is a whiskey flask (these are coffin flasks with hexagonal bases). Is it possible they are whiskey "nips"? The volume of each is about 1.75 fluid ounces.

They are blown in colorless glass in two different molds. They have smooth bases. On one side, there is a round "window" in the diamond cross-hatching where a label was affixed, no doubt. The "brandy lip" and the "double-bead lip" are common finishes on spirits bottles.

Opinions welcome, and it would be super if someone knows of a labeled specimen! Thanks!

In my opinion they are whiskey flasks, they just look like whiskey bottles to me although I've never seen any like those ones.

Thanks for the opinion, mate.

I think you're right -- I believe these are whiskey nips. At 1.75 fluid ounces, they contained one generous shot (1.5 oz. = a shot).

Still, it would be great if someone had one with a label.
