Hello Sam,

My directory isn't as old as yours but it has special meaning. I have this telephone so that it will ring whenever I receive a call at home.

Have a great day,

Hello Everyone,

The reason that this directory is special to me is that the only person listed under "M" is my Grandfather. You had to dial the number and let it ring 3 times as he was on a party line and the 3 rings were his ring. This is a 1921 directory for Johnson County, Arkansas.

Enjoy,

Hi athometoo, if the 1862 Dallas was first it's gonna come as a big disappointment to the people of Paterson considering I have a 1857 Boyd's City Directory......:O)......Jim

Oh I see, I love mine even though I am missing A-H, the books this early are such a great study on early life and business here it is just mind boggling. Every laundry service in the area was a Chinese man or woman except for one older woman from the area, and the amount of taverns & bars is just unreal.....:O)

I'm having trouble viewing much of anything without joining and paying the $79.95 fee.
Any suggestions?
Bill
