Because marbles were a hot topic for a while, I just wanted to share some of mine. Sifting is a great way to find the smalls in any dump. Marbles, coins, tokens, watch fobs, doll parts, etc. A lot of mine have come from creeks, dozed house lots, and farm fields. Here are my German swirls.

I have a full jar of clays. Started a new bigger jar. My bennington and crock jar is almost full.

This is the shape they usually come out of this one toc - 1920 dump. Lots of rust and burn spots in the dump.

Last one. The clay I found in the creek with that bitters is on the left. Still has some green paint or dye. The other four came from a recent dozed lot. Hope you enjoyed the pics.

Boy, do I feel stupid. I knew there was a lot of talk lately, but I never knew it really happened. I just didn't scroll down far enough. Cool.

Hopefully there is a way to move this post over to that section. I see the other older posts made it in there. I honestly had no idea that there was a marble section.

Nice looking marbles for sure,...Road Dog,...what are the significance of the ones you circled?

Left most marble looks like a Akro cork with odd colors. Can't tell if it's transparent blue base or not. Could be a Peltier that has a nice wrap. The other small marble is a Akro. Might be a Ringer type. Kinda tuff to find. The big Brick in the corner I always like to get a closer look at those Handgathered ones.

Nice....the closest I have gotten to one of those is a half of one found on a local island in the Gulf.[8D] Referring to the swirls in the first post. Marvin
