I've decided to get all of the mason jars out of my basement and try to sell them. I consulted ebay and realized that identifying them is not so simple. I don'tglass bubbles, etc). They include Ball Ideal, Self Seal, Perfect Mason, Atlas, Double Safety and unmarked. Most have numbers, some with underscores and a couple with a funky looking marking that might be a 6 or 9.
Any advice on how to proceed? I could list them all separately on ebay, but I don't want to look like an idiot or go thru the effort trying to sell a jar that was made yesterday.

Sell them as a lot and I'll buy them! [;)]

Rosanna, If you're willing to invest $35 for a Redbook, you can look like a pro when listing your jars. Keep in mind though, even though most of your jars are from the first half of the 20th century, many of them are only worth a buck or two. It could be long & painstaking to find out you might end up netting $35 when you sell 'em. -Tammy
