Looks like several different types there, clays,Akro ,Vitro ,Master maybe Champion..Would like to see better pics of the one by George's chin(white and red or brown swirl) and the second to the left of that one (blue and red),those look interesting.[:)]

I know a little about them ,enough to get me in trouble [:D].Several others here that know a lot about marbles (i am not one of them )With marbles condition and rarity are the main concern .Collectors want blemish free examples if possible .There are two Akro corkscrews i see, the red and white and the blue and white and several others that i would like to see better .Any way you can make that picture a little bigger ? Keep digging them up and posting them ,thanks ![:)]

Yep,the red and white on left , blue and white are Akro corksrcews (the color swirls around the marble like a corkscrew ) .The one blue and orange and white looks like Peltier Rainbo .The white and dark red is interesting (at top of page ) I have found the clay marbles in dumps and in fields with stone points as well .The real big blue and white one in first pic if in good shape could be a good one . Thanks for pics ! [:)]

Hey J&T ,scrub them up with a little fine steel wool and soap ,take good pics and maybe can tell a little more about them .That big blue and white might a good one to show pics of cleaned up and may be a good one depending on condition .The clays do not bring much money on e-bay .That last green and white is interesting as do several others in this pic .Pics with different views of marbles and any seams if present are usually necessary for ids and estimated values. E-bay is good way to sell ,more people see them ,if you put them there please put link to sale . I buy marbles but i like to get them on the cheap[:D]
Pic of Peltier ,i like this color combo ! Pics like these are needed if possible .
Is there anything inside last red marble you posted or is it a reflection?[:)]

My camera has a setting that will take 1 ,2 or 4 seperate pictures in one .The last 2 pics you posted are good ! Most of the clear or solid color marbles have very little value .The blue one in 2nd picture might be Champion (marble company) but not sure without more views .The last one is probably Peltier but a few more views would be helpfull .Keep on digging them i really enjoy seeing pics of others marbles .The problem with marbles and bottles is about 90 - 95% of them are common and not worth a whole lot ,but they are fun to dig and collect .[:)]

That one looks like a porcelain marble possibly .White benningtons have little spots or fisheyes on them from touching together on trays put in kiln to fire the glazing .
Nothing wrong with stick digging, bottles don't get broken as much , and they are replaced easy ,works best on the hillside .
Sorry, can't lend out my camera ,but if you ever head east bring your marbles and we will take pics and post them .
Marble prices are on the rise ,keep digging them ,the more you find the better your chances of finding the big money marble are .[:)]
