Found some of these myself and some with a group privy digging. I believe the large one to be porcelain as it is not glazed and this one is huge! I don't have anything to measure it with but it is definitely over an inch and a half. I know the other two are "bennies." and the clays, and the pontiled glass swirl has a lot of different colors. Anybody have any other information they can share on these? Age, ID, value, etc? Not looking to sell at the moment as I think they all are great! :) Many thanks! - KB

The lined porcelain ones (center bottom row) are listed in Grists new book 4th edition - 5/8'' size $45.00 (mint or near mint condition) - probably top dollar for that type IMO .
Ages( guessing )TOC or earlier .
The handmade (bottom right) looks like ribbon core ,but condition is an issue. The largest (top right ) might be a painted clay ,they were made from Kaolin (sp?) a type of pipe clay fired in kiln .Also could be a painted porcelain ,hard to tell from pictures . [:)]

Thanks digs!! I will take a closer look at the big one. Measured it and it comes in at just over 1.5 inches. As you said it condition is key... The glass one is beat up but i love it :) the clay one surprised me as the lines are well intact for being in the ground for almost 150 years! Rinsed it off very gently as not to destroy the lines.
