Iʻm lazy. Does anyone know where this bottle is from? time period? Its a round bottom, applied top. My guess is 1870ʻs - 1880ʻs.

Location would be great. Thanks.

That bottle is not listed in the two Markota soda books I have. I also checked another soda book of auction listings with no luck. No mention of it on the soda's and beer's site. That bottle does not look English to me but who knows. I will be interested what others will come up with as there are some pretty good researchers on this forum.

There was a Grant Mineral Water Co. in Detroit Michigan dating back to the turn of the century and maybe earlier, could be the guy...[:-]

Thanks Steve, Jim. I was kind of thinking American too. The font reminds me of our Hollister Honolulu HI round bottoms and are very similar but I donʻt know where they were blown either.[8|]
