View Full Version : double fish bottle

Found this today at an estate sale, I have seen similar ones but never with the tail stoppers. The label shows made in czechoslovakia at kord distilleries with the label on the base indicating "hand Blown". Should I empty it and display with the tails up or leave it as is? These are the only pics for now because my kodak V610 died after the last pick (oh well time for a new camera anyway)

It's an interesting gemel type, not very old but nice. Since it's open I wouldn't taste it and I'd dump it myself.
Weird having the ground stoppers but what looks like a smooth neck with corks.
I guess this is just a personal preference question.

Thanks for the reply, sorta had that same question as to why grind the stoppers and not match the neck but perhaps it was a production thing as a great deal of work went into these to apply the eyes, mouth etc. Also as old as this stuff is I wouldn't dream of drinking it!![:'(][:'(]. Thanks again
