is a lady's leg dedicated to one type of drink? like whiskey or wine?

All the ladies leg bottles I know of are bitters. I guess they could have been reused for something else by a pharmicists or even maybe something else originally came in a ladies leg type bottle. But all the ones I,ve seen or dreamed about owning came with bitters origanally.

thank you sir, I appreciate it. I have a couple of tall ones and a couple of "stubby" ones. just wondering what catagory i should be looking under. thanx

They were used on some southern and western whiskeys too.

bitters, beers, wiskeys, barber bottles, medicines, sodas... there are a lot of differnt bottles that have lady's legs

My guess is that most lady's legs held whisky...
