They tend to do that. I just realized that was your own bottle. I like that Huntington WV Coke you have too. I've seen a few of those in the woods broken.

When I go back to WV, I'm going to buy every Huntington SS Coke I find, and list those too. There was a good bunch last I was there.

14 watching or sniping? They wait not making a bid so as not to tip off buyers that they are interested in the item. They bid the last second so no one has time to counterbid. Keeps the price down. Highest bid is the one that wins though. Morally wrong but not illegal.

Appearing to be sniping. It's a good way to keep things cheap, but bad on the sellers. Even if I get one bid, I'll still be happy with this one.

As both a buyer and a seller I can tell you why people do this. It's because of how Ebay allows automatic bidding. Someone can put a bid in and then another person tries to bid on it and the bid gets rejected because the auto-bid keeps driving the price higher. So I don't see last minute bids as being morally wrong. It's the auto-bid process that is morally wrong.

2 Weeks ago I had a rare Detroit Bottle listed on ebay. Had about 332 views & about 32 Watchers. A Buddy said I was sure to get a bid with all the views & watchers. I said I don't know, I've been on ebay long enough to know that means nothing. At the end I got no bids. Tire Kickers. LEON.
