Fresh Find From the Creek - Unknown "Eagle Pop Co" Des Moines Iowa Straight Sided

While out looking for bottles yesterday, I had my find of the summer in the creek. I'm from DSM so I'm familiar with the bottle makers here, but I can't find ANY info on this bottle. I've checked state registries and past auctions and haven't found a thing. Straight sided embossed "Eagle Pop Co" center slug plate "Des Moines, Iowa". There is also an eagle depicted between the embossing. The bottom of the bottle is marked "J. Critelli". If you can find any info on the company, the bottler, or the value please let me know. Overall great condition.

It's a mystery. I found alot of eagle bottling works all around the country. Found 2 variations of hutchinson Eagle bottling works from Davenport Iowa. You may want to try the obituaries. I just hit dead ends. I like the bottle though. I have many like that. No information. I held on to mine you should probably do the same.

Joseph Critelli was a long-time grocer in Des Moines in the 1910's and 1920's. Many of these places had their own soda that they sold. Great bottle!
