Are you checking with the local county library? The reference librarian will check the city directories and possibly old newspapers for you for this sort of info.

I've gone through the historical society, land deed records, historical records of family name, and even the tax records.... but Jake was able to give me some information and is going to take up the task of my bottles fate. If nothing else, it will be in a collection of like items and able to be admired in shows and events. So I'm happy with it.
