I figure this can is worthy of its own thread , found it the other day , was poking around a wooded area I've been to many times before . was a small area of rusted oil /food cans and such , saw something partly visible under some leaves and though it might be a can . was shocked to see it was a flat top 7 up can from the early 60's with nearly full and originally colour on one side
found alot of 7 up cans over the years but never found this can so not entirely familiar with it but I believe its a good one , know that it dates from the early 60's , flat top 12 oz so fairly early in terms of soda cans .
the can itself is in relatively good condition for being outdoors so long , the colour doesn't seem to have faded at all , the orange and green is fully bright . is obviously some rust , especially on the side which faced up when it was in the ground , also rusted on a lot of the wording on back . but can read that can is from dominion seven up limited Toronto Canada
slogan on can read " fresh up with seven up " " you like it , it likes you "
