Rare 1880 J.B. Taylor Harriston Ontario Blob Top Quart Bottle

Quite a rare find, a 1880s blob top quart from Harriston Ontario. Not one you see very often! especially in perfect condition.

i don't know if I've ever seen one before , Harriston is in south western Ontario , you found it up north ? I suppose bottles travelled a bit back then

what places were any other bottles found nearby from ?

manitoulin island is a popular hunting/fishing destination for people from southern Ontario so I suppose some brought bottles with them and left them there

Harriston area ? a group of people from there must of traveled there for some reason , maybe a hunt camp or cottage they went to each year
