Bought this today in DE. Bottom has a J on it and D.G.W. on it in big letters (so it could be WDG or GWD)

I saw a previous thread where this was dated to the 1870’s but that poster didn’t mention the J being on the bottom of theirs.

Is that even a J? It looks a bit like a small string of glass that cooled on the bottom to me. But I agree that 1870s sounds about right, give or take a couple years.
