I’ve been hoping to get one of these. Casewear on the top protrusion, otherwise like new. Dated 1932. In my experience, this bottle is HTF. Does anyone else have one, in green maybe? Also, as always, I’m a hardcore collector, desperate to hear from other strong Art Deco collectors with serious bottles.

Yes, I have that, in both colorless and green.

None of my bottles are serious; they're all happy and cheerful.
As for the green one: It's a greeeeen Velvet! Softer than satin was the light. (You know the tune.)

I'm not extremely picky about condition. Same as with my coin collection - the coins that are a bit worn were used by people - to buy things. I try to imagine what they were. Later, in their far far future, they became part of my collection. Same with soda pop bottles, maybe 10 or 20 people drank from it long ago, partying, listening to the music of the time. Romantic examples of long-ago glass art, they are!

Thanks for writing. I like what you said, about the bottles connecting us to the past. I still don’t like case wear, but love the idea that they were just a soda bottle at one time, not a collectible. That’s really what got me interested. I was amazed by the creativity that went into packaging a pretty basic product. They sure don’t see a need for that these days! Again, thanks for writing, and enjoy this exclusive photo of more of mine.

A brand produced by an unnamed bottler in Baltimore, MD. Size 7 oz. Do you have anything for sale/trade?

An aspect of these bottles that amazes me is the weight of them. Bottles with 6 oz capacity usually weigh just over 14 ounces. That means a lot of shipping cost for just the glass. By today's perspective, it's a shocking waste of energy.

Right! They weigh more than the product! From that standpoint, they are terrible compared to the modern plastic container. But that’s another reason they are all quirky and I like them! I very much appreciate your reply. Have another exclusive photo!

I have some extra bottles for sale or trade but shipping would likely be expensive as Canada post rates are very high especially for mail to US
