Jimmy: I feel your excitement for wanting to discover the treasures the site may hold, BUT..... even if there are no 'NO TRESPASSING' signs, you very well could be arrested and fined. I bought 103 acres of forested land. I had signs along the road stating 'NO TRESPASSING' and a couple times I caught people walking around on trhe property hunting mushrooms. I made them leave. I also had people approach me asking for permission to hunt mushrooms. I told them thank you for asking. Go ahead.
