Forgot the measurements circumference 23 and a half inches, with 7 1/2 inches, height 3 in

That appears to be a giant porcelain electical insulator. Not quite sure on value, but could be as old as the 50s or 60s and probably carried high voltage wire. Cool find. Might have been a two piece insulator but it looks to be a single piece "saddleback" shaped one

Just based on the glaze color, this is pre-WW2. I can see a cemented joint, so it's definitely a two-part multipiece. It's tough to identify it exactly, but when it was whole it probably looked something like this catalog drawing.

See now I would have never known that, that's crazy it's pre 1940s. You think I would since my dad is a lineman but the only knowledge I have for insulators is for glass ones.

That certainly makes sense, it does screw on there appears to be a filler so they must have screwed it on and then attached it once again this forum the best giddy up
