noticed this one on ebay but seen this bottle before but can't remember where ? its from Toronto , a bottler called " Verner " who went by a couple different names in book but from around the early 1900's era

what makes it unique is the embossing specifically the Horse part . is other bottles with horses on them but its very prominent on this one .

just though I'd share as its a neat one

I didn't see the google post on this bottle , don't think this bottle is related to Verner ginger ale . the Verner Toronto bottler seems to be unrelated just had a similar last name

RCO is right. The early John Vernon Toronto bottle is not the same as the Vernor Ginger Ale bottler. The bottle is pretty nice looking though.

I bid and though no one else had bid ( other than initial person I outbid ) but it appears they and 1 other person bid at the last > minute and bottle sold for $43 which is a bit higher than $ 30 opening bid

but I checked some Toronto bottle books and its listed as being worth much more than $43 according to there price guides so it went for much less than its possible value
