Well this is the stack I have and none are from the 60's. The earlier Ice Castle cans had the S on the front as pictured in the newspaper article.
The diet cola cans are just marked Steinberg, one is the older with no UPC and then an updated one with the UPC. The only other variation I have is the second Half and Half which is the older version. So no doubt I'm missing all the older cans, and I believe I have all the second gen ones, not sure what other diet cans are out there.

I've never found any of the cans you have in the wild here

but a couple weeks ago at the same spot where I found that flat top Yukon club kola , I found a flat top " ice castle - tonic water " can .

was going to post it , just took a picture of it the other day after I tried to clean it some more . you can see the content 10 oz , s on the front , yellow around tonic water . it has a lot of rust but still a lot there , never found any other cans from ice castle in that area so seemed to be a one off

They were Quebec's largest grocer, and had expanded into Ontario but I don't think any further west. Here's the link for more info.

likely more of there cans would be found in quebec area

I've never heard of any of those stores/chains listed as having operated in my area before . although hard to keep track of who operated here as even discount stores that operated in the 90's > early 2000's have been long forgotten

you'd barely find anyone here who even remembers Bi way or old economy fair stores but they did have stores here

Did that link work for you? it was not this morning but I fixed it. Many of the stores were Miracle Food Marts and later were bought out by A&P.
I have some cans from Miracle.

I read the page about Steinberg , my area would of been fairly small back then . fairly hard for a chain like that to come to town due to a lack of retail space

my town back then in terms of retail was the downtown area and maybe 1 plaza just past the downtown .

now it has a large retail area with a wal mart north of town and a small indoor mall which used to have a Zellers , plus several other smaller plaza's and such which didn't exist years ago

pretty sure there was never a miracle food mart here or any of those other chains but hard to say for sure . I once saw in a book that my town had a Dixie lee ( chicken ) in the 80's ? but no one seems to remember it being here
