I found this Fanta Root Beer can a couple of weeks ago , it was in the woods off a small roadway . it still has a lot of its original colour , think this can is from the 70's era . most of the Fanta cans I find are for orange or grape not many root beer , also found cream soda and ginger ale .

not sure when they stopped making Fanta root beer , pretty sure they don't sell it anymore at least not in Canada . I also have 2 other Fanta root beer cans , 1 from the 80's and a second can the same as this one .

I liked most of their flavors but I personally didn't like their Rootbeer flavor. A&W or Hires mug style for me. What the hell is mug style anyway? Oh well, I liked it as a kid.

I bought a Root Beer mug from the junk store last week. I remember them from when I was a kid, because they were heavy has heck, and they didn't hold a lot of Root Beer. I just can't remember which place had the heavy Root Beer mugs, A&W, Foster's, Big Boy's...?

A wild night of Rootbeer overindulgence.

I was mistaken about my mug, it's actually a Libbey panel beer mug. I got a good deal on it at least, they retail for about 5 bucks each in a case of 12, and I paid 50 cents. I bought it to hold my dish washing tool, which holds liquid soap in the handle. My last mug fell in the sink and shattered, so I needed a stronger, heavier mug.
