Hello. I am looking for a date and location of manufacture. Found this on 8-22-2021 in Sewanee, Tennessee area during a hike in what appears to be an old dump site. Thank you...

The date code is 1962 :D
On most cokes they have the two numbers and the first is the date code (62 for yours)

WOW! That's pretty awesome. According to https://glassbottlemarks.com/glass-manufacturers-marks-on-coke-bottles/ , the "C" inside the circle on the bottom of the bottle denotes Chattanooga Glass Company. If I'm understanding it correctly...

I didn't know they were still using embossed Coke bottles in 1962. I guess there must have been a period where they were using both side by side?

Yes, they were also making ACL's in 1962. From Porter's Coke book that would actually be scarce if it was a D-Patent Coke, usually most D-Patent Cokes are pretty Common. LEON.
