I am looking to buy some "beginner" poison bottles, nothing crazy.

I don't want any Sharpe and Dohme bottles, unless they are labeled.


What I'd LOVE to have, is one of those amber Tinct. of Iodine bottles with the skull and crossbones. Any amber, cobalt blue or green poison bottle will do as long as it is a true poison... Unless it's one of those McCormick bug killer bottles, I like those.


If you have something nice, but out of my price range, I have plenty of nice bottles to trade with.

I just listed some Iodine bottles in the WTS Forum. Check them out. I'll be posting some Blue and green poisons over the next while as well.

May i ask why you wouldn't want any sharpe and dohme bottle unless they are labeled? Im just curious is it the label that makes them desirable ? Im a newbie when it comes to bottles so please forgive my ignorance.

Sharpe and Dohme made both medicines and poisons, and it is often hard to tell the two apart if they are not labeled. One of the most popular "poison" bottles you can find on ebay are the amber cylindrical Sharpe and Dohme bottles. These didn't contain poison however, but medicine instead.

I am no longer looking actively for poisons, but I like looking at least. American poisons are the best for me.
