I found this aqua colored blob of glass in a small dump area and thought it was kind of cool. No embossing...lol! It looks like a bunch of glass melted together. Has a silvery look to the one side. Light passes through but has a hard time in the thick areas. Must have been a hot fire.

Anytime you can get glass to melt. Its most likely a very hot fire. I thought it might be something you brought home from Dead Horse Bay!!! LOL
I am hoping to get all the photos loaded tomorrow for the Prohibition Spiders and point out the little differences to you...

I have never been to Dead horse bay. Not opposed to going, but might like to follow someone that's been there before.

Robby, I just can not get use to this forums format. I must have seen a reply or something you said about Dear Horse Bay and thought you had actually gone there. Its a sad looking place, but I do think if you took a clam rake and got below the bottles on top you could get into the older part of the refuse pile and find some nice stuff.

I guess that’s what you call a slag. Very cool! Is it just me, or does it look a little appetizing?

I think I have heard that before. Anyone want to take a road trip? Dead horse bay or bust!

To me it looks like old glass fuzed together. Many layers of thin glass. Some spots look like glass Damascus, if there is such a thing? What makes me wonder is the holes it kind of looks like med bottle necks or a mouth melted and fuzed to heck. I circled the area in question. Am I crazy or what?

Robby, I have watched a few online videos of people walking the beach/pile of bottles. I think there is something that affects them in the air or they are nuts to begin with. One guy is hanging bottles from the limbs of a dead tree and THINKS its art? Another is pushing his bicycle on the shore line looking for treasures and when you hear him talk he sounds paranoid about others getting into his treasure chest. There is a female video taping what they are doing and she says they have to be nuts to be there. And then three guys appear out of the bull rushes carrying a chain saw and tell the two on the beach they were "just back there in the bull rushes cutting down a tree". Personally I have been in combat and I don't know if I would venture out into Dead Horse Bay. I do think there is something in the air.... Maybe it was the ASBESTOS the one guy commented about. Its a good plot for a CHAINSAW movie....!!!
