Never had anyone walk up on me when digging, thinking this can go good or bad. Went good he's a digger. I'm going to try and condense this,he can't dig much anymore wanted to know if I wanted some bottles free he had. He's doing the same as me looking around downed trees said he found a old one by brewery across the street. It was there late 1800 closed prohibition, Al Capone took it over used it to stash his spirits in the caves that were there, used to go in them when I was a kid. They sealed them up with cement and put a bunch of huge trees all over that area, well we found an entrance , couldn't get in there today let the fun begin. Looks like next Sunday and Monday will look into it a little more.

No, these were used to just store alcohol in a cool place, the brewery was no longer there, and it was very close to Stickney,Cicero and Berwyn where he operated.

Remember they had a live tv program back in the '80s where they dug out Al Capone's "Vaults" at his HQ--the Lexington Hotel? (It was hosted by that PR-Am. newsman with the big 'stache.) Well, they could have used you, Mailman1960! --I believe, despite attempts to save it, the Lexington was taken down about a decade later. Talk about a honeycomb! Supposedly, the various tunnels connected under the streets to his other "interests." Remember, if you find a chunk of his lost loot, the IRS will want their cut! Good luck! We're rooting for you!

Yeah, it was Riveria! (Thx.) There's a lot of diggers just like you mentioned. Ouch. Do they get a share? C'mon, at least an autograph if they supply the sssa envelope! Find some Capone stuff Mailman. Just go slowly. Btw, I'm calling Dibbs on the first Thompson submachine gun even if that means a late autograph.:D
