Might be a modern Mt. Vernon whiskey. One of George Washington's old favorites.

Hey "Bottlebot" are there ANY code numbers anywhere on the bottle? The reason why I ask is because the great majority of the liquor bottles marked with the "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE" phrase on them ALSO have liquor bottle permit code numbers and date codes on them, which have good info on when and where a bottle was made.
I don't see any markings on the bottom that should be there. It is possible this was a bottle made outside the US for the United States market (??) and in some cases I think they were unmarked, or not marked the way most FLFSOROTB bottles were - that were made inside the US during the 1935-1967ish time period.

Battlebot,

FYI- G. W. was the founder + toward the end was producing 10,000 gallons a year. However, once he was gone his distillery was sold off and it changed hands many times through the years. Your bottle is indeed, a modern one.

Careful, federal law forbids you from selling that bottle, the FBI probably has agents outside your house watching you and making sure it stays unsold. Friend of mine once tried to sell a similar bottle at a yard sale. Ever hear of Black Hawk Down? That was because of him, tried to sell that bottle in Somalia thinking no one would know.
