I've been trying to collect all of the US variants of the "draped" or "Mae West" bottles of the 1950s. They came out in 1955. Here is what I have so far:
YiiTqX.jpg

On the left are the standard "Orange Crush" marked bottles and on the right are the ones marked "Orange Crush Drink".
There are various neck markings including a small green "Orange Crush", a small white "Orange Crush", three dots around the neck, and two dots around the neck.
For the "drink" variants, I've been able to find the no neck logo, the small white "Orange Crush" and the two dotted neck.

I'm now looking for proof of the existence of the following bottles, with a 1950s date code:
Orange Crush "Drink" with small green "Orange Crush" logo on neck
Orange Crush "Drink" with 3 dots on neck

In the 1960s, there are bottles where the word "Orange" was removed from above the word "Crush". Most likely so they could put other flavors in the same bottle.

The change happened in the neck logo as well:

I have seen proof of a 1959 dated bottle without the "Orange" word but it was a Canadian bottle. Looking for proof that a US one exists. The earliest US bottle I've been able to find is 1960.

Another change that happened was the addition of the contents below the word "Crush":

Trying to find what year this happened as well...

Hi shadeone,
I love the line up of crush Mae West you got there. I got one, not quite what your looking for, but it is of the “drink” variety. It is an 8oz with small green crush on the neck and the bottle is fully stippled. It’s date 1962, Just thought I would share

Oooh! Ok so “drink” with green neck logo does exist! Just not 50s yet! Thanks for the pic, I have more faith that I’ll find a 50s one now… The hunt continues :)

This is the only two I have in clear glass, the 7oz is dated 1963, and the 8oz triple dot is dated 1957.
And don't forget to hunt for the brown ones!...they were introduced in 1965, I have a 10oz and a 7oz, they were only out till about 1967.
Hey on a side note, the first five years would include 1960 :)

You motivated me to gather together my Mae West bottles to see if I have any information for you. I don't think I have with the possible exception of the small 7 oz bottle. Tiny little bottle! Both of the 1955 bottles only have a 5 where the date code is. I don't think that likely would indicate 1965.

Your Canadian 10oz brown one does have a year, it's located on the front heel, the number to the right is the year.
If it has English and French print on the back it will be a 6, and if only English it will be a five. To date I have only seen one brown bottle with a date code of 1967, and five brown with a date code of 1964....these rare factory samples are in my possession.
