Did some scouting today and found two dumps within 30ft of each other, on opposite banks of the creek. The first one had been dug somewhat, but had a lot of untouched areas, I didn’t have a shovel though. Second dump had most of these bottles, all buried in hardpack mud and iron oxide.
Left to right: Kepler malt, Phenique chemical company, Hygrade Water and Soda Co., Stoecker, St Louis Dairy Co., and two unknown floral bottles. First one of those has a few lilies and the word “trademark” but nothing else, last one is by Obear-Nester but no other marks.

Does the cup in the foreground have any marks on the bottom?

I’m on the other side of the river in Madison county. St. Louis bottles are my #1 priority in my personal collection. I still have a few dumps over here but can’t find any St. Louis blobs at any of them.

Nice, I was just exploring in O’Fallon today. I’ve been hunting for a year, mostly in STL county, and haven’t even found a BIM marked St. Louis yet, I have a few Belleville circle slug crowns and a Lebanon IL hutch. A blob would be really nice to find.

If you go to the show in Belleville in November look me up. I’ll be advertising my bottle cleaning business and set up with my dad. I hate getting rid of anything but been coming across allot of bottles on trade for cleaning others. My wife won’t let me keep them all so I sale and have money to buy what I like

No, unfortunately. I have so many unmarked English transferware cups, it seems they didn’t mark the cups very often in the registration era
Thank you for the reply, I have dug some similar to that cup but they have blue marking on their bottoms that are not legible. What do you mean by the term Registration Era? I am clueless on that one....OMD
