Looking for help identifying two bottles

Can anyone please help identify these two bottles recently unearthed in Groton MA? I've searched the internet but only came up with the manufacturer information for the clear bottle using the stamps on the base.

The Manufacturers or "Makers Mark" (MM), in the upper center of the base, shows a capital "I" inside an oval indicating they're from the Owens of Illinois Glass Company.
On their bottles the number to the left of the "MM" indicates where a bottle was produced. My bottle has a "2" telling me it was made in Huntington West Virginia.
The number to the right of the "MM" is the Date Code (DC). On many Owens of Illinois bottles a single-digit "DC" indicates the bottle was made in the 1930's or early 1940's. Most bottles from the late 1940's and later have two digit date codes, although single digit date codes were sometimes used in later decades without a period to the right of the code. The Huntington West Virginia bottle has a"DC" of "0" telling me that it was made in either 1930 or 1940.

The hunt for information on the brow bottle has just begun.

I found a few listings online for the brown bottle by searching up the patent info. The design was first patented in 1960, and yours appears to be from 1965 based on the 65 above the patent number. The eBay and Esty listings claim that the bottle was a Crisco oil bottle and with some more searching I found a bottle with the label on Worthpoint.

As for the clear one, I've seen examples of it pop up on this forum in the past month or so. I think it was decided that is was either a grape juice bottle or a vinegar bottle. I'll see if I can find the posts.

Someone else recently posted about the rounded bottom "Hob Nail" bottle. I've found two of those in the last couple months each from different dumps, both of which are for the most part 50's and 60's time period farm dumps. The I inside the O is a later mark used by OI, if it was a 30's or 40's the "MM" should also have the diamond through the O. I'm guessing 50's on the two I found. Here's a picture of the second one I found a few weeks back. So far I still haven't found what these bottle held.....

Interesting, I have found a bottle very similar to your clear bottle, just smaller with a much thinner neck. I also do not know what it contained but I found it in Medfield, MA. Pretty close.

They seem rare but have been unearthed from Diascund Creek Reservoir in Virginia to Central Pennsylvania. I've seen a few with a dark brown plastic cap. One I saw on ebay had a cap with a light blue patina. Still no luck finding out what they once held.
