I picked up this Orange Crush bottle for $8 at a local antique mall. Has Sarasota, Fl. On bottom. Its a bottle made by ROOT glass company and has a 25 on heal so assuming 1925. I see the brown krinkly bottles pretty frequently but first clear one I've found. Did the brown bottles come out after clear ones? What year? Also purchased a 1943 10-2-4 "Good For Life" Dr. Pepper for $8. I don't collect ACL bottles but saw this very clean Pepsi bottle and said what the hell. It has an R-58 on bottom? Not sure if this is date but I think this type of bottle is from the 40s-50s? The only other ACL I have is this mint Dr. Herrings bottle. Never heard of it.

The brown krinkly Crush bottle came out in 1938. I have the same clear krinkly Crush marked Root but it has 3559S, I'm not up to speed on Root glass date codes, so I cant confirm your bottle is 1925....but it's well within the time line.

Mine also has mold number/code on the heal. To the right of that it says ROOT then right of that is date.

So I did find a number to the right of 'ROOT' on mine as well, but it poorly embossed, appears to be 26... may have been 25, possibly stamped over.

Cool.
Did you find that one in Canada?
Does it have city on bottom?
Yes I found it up here!....always interesting how these bottles migrate around, lol.
So the base is marked O.C.H.C. , I never did figure out which bottler or maybe city that could mean.
