Bottle bottoms with elaborate maker's mark found near Toledo

Hi! A friend found these near Toledo, Ohio on Lake Erie beaches. Can anyone identify the mark? Thanks!

Ouch! One has to wonder what monster killed those two poor bots. (Esp. the first!) Ice chopper? Bull dozer blade? More importantly, note the middle initial in the first forms a spade like shovel. In the second example the scraper edge is opened up to a slightly wider "M." There you have it--HBMO with a centered shovel. Ok , half time is over have to see the rest of the game...

Technically speaking, the monogram probably isn't a true "makers mark", as in meaning "the company that made the bottle". Instead it's probably the initials of the bottling company that sold the beverage. I seem to see some faint numbers / letters underneath the monogram??? That might give info on maker? Can you make out what they are?

OK I'm gonna ask her about the letters under the monogram. And start researching HMBO in Toledo! I was thinking the first letter was an E but that didn't really help!

I also think it's an E rather than an H. I'm guessing that since the O is so much smaller than the others it might stand for "Of", as in EMB of Toledo. It's also possible that it's not an E or an H and is just a very long B. There don't seem to be any good matches on sodasandbeers.com from Toledo though, so maybe from somewhere else? Sometimes a large number of bottles from one city would end up being dumped in another.

It may have nothing at all to do with Toledo. The bottle could be from a bottling company located (probably) somewhere in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania or Wisconsin!

And the letters I see are: T B O M........... M O B T............ O M B T ........ M O T B .......... T O M B ...... and many other combos!

However, as a follow-up comment: I still have very strong doubts that this could be the correct meaning of the monogram. The reason why I am doubtful is that nearly all monograms on the bottoms of beverage bottles are composed of the letters which are initials in the name of the Bottling company, but NOT INCLUDING the initials of a city or state!! Right? FEEDBACK anyone???

I only mentioned Toledo as my friend found the shards there. I do still like the idea from Len that the T makes a shovel. Maybe the O is a hole. Like would a company that dug holes in Toledo have a special bottle? the world famous Edward Martin Brooks Toledo Spade Oil. OK maybe not.
I have looked for EMB Toledo Ohio but have come up with nothing, alas. I haven't head back about the other markings on the bottom either. Do you think maybe it's not a bottle bottom but instead is some industrial piece like a fancy fuse cover or something?
