In the U.S., the hobbleskirt-design bottles of the 1915 series were made with various colors of glass. Color standardization came later.

Recently I went out on a nice creek walk not expecting to find very much. The first sandbar I get onto held only the fragments of a broken Nehi and some other misc. shards. The second sandbar was nothing but rocks and sand. But the third, had to be the best. Laying on its side was this clear Burlington, NC coke! Im not really sure how rare or valuable this town is, and its pretty rough, but nonetheless a fantastic find!
Cheers!

Wow! That is a really cool find! You just re-inspired me to go looking again! I get discouraged after time, which is why I love this site! My favorite bottles to collect are Coke bottles, Dairy, and medicine! Wow! 1915....that bottle has been down on the creek for 108 years! Holy cow! I too look on the edges of creek/river/lake beds, or around old abandoned restaurants/stores, or (if I can find them (LOL, a hunt in itself) old dumps sites in the jersey pines. You just sparked my interest again, thanks!
