1939 Old Overholt Whiskey Mini Bottle

Glassmaker: Owens-Illinois Plant 6, Charleston, WV
Color: amber/brown
Product: Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, 100 proof
Bottler: A. Overholt Company, Broad Ford, PA
Volume: 1.6 ounces ( 1/10th pint)
Height: 4 inches
Weight: 3 ounces
Seams: 2 seams all the way to top
Label Type: paper
Closure Type: screw-on metal cap

Notes: Bottle sealed/ unopened but contents have evaporated. The whiskey was made in spring 1934 and the bottle was filled in fall 1939. There is a Florida tax stamp. These mini bottles were often distributed on trains and airlines.
