you are very kind Colin, the Nixey bottle was salvaged during work on an old Georgian house ,it had lain under the floorboards for years,until i came along. the Dublin cream pots although different shapes from Nassau street Co Operative,were found on 2 different sites in dublin.can you date the cream pots. I am just blessed in what i do Colin, and i just seem to have the eye,when it comes to saving certain artefacts from the skip.In 35 years working for the same firm,i have come across lots of stuff that i find interesting, old signs, cigarette advertising ,period furniture,practically everything from the last 250 years.
I have checked some of the newspaper archives I subscribe to and the only advertisements I can find for the Co-Operative Dairy in Nassau Street are some small ads from the early 1890's and I would suggest your pots would be contemporary with this period.

Thanks again Colin, your knowledge and research is impeccable, and as regards to the Nixey pot , I have never seen another with the original label, which in itself will help others to understand what originally was in the pots, a lot of people thought they held ink , perhaps some did as well as the eggshell enamel for painting iron.
