    Does anybody know anything about the age, origin and value clay pipes in general ? I have this one (Col. Jameson stamped on the stem) and others as well e.g skull, hand holding a vessel, Face of Lord Beaconsfield and one from an army regiment. (These were dug in South Africa.) Thanks

    Hi WW, sorry for late reply I took another pic - hopefully more clear. No embossing, just labels on the front and back and the lead seal on top featuring the owl.
