    Ballast bottle?

Yeah I did think it was odd how thin the glass is. Thanks for your reply!

    Conti bottle

Found this conti bottle, seems to be missing the top. Found on a beach. Can’t seem to find consistent info online, anyone know what it was and when it’s from?

    Ballast bottle?

Round bottom bottle found in dunes, lip is broken. Glass feels really thin, nothing embossed on it and no real seams either. Anyone know anything?

A few finds if the day

I also happened upon one of those cobalt blue Emerson's Drug Co Bromo-Seltzer bottles yesterday! The lug top one, like the one you found, is probably between 1921-1952.

Found in sand dunes, can’t find info online?

Yes it was likely buried in the dunes all this time, I have found other old bottles in the same way. The dunes shift every year with the winter storms and turn up all kinds of old stuff.

Found in sand dunes, can’t find info online?

I found this bottle in the sand dunes on cape cod, so there wasn’t any trash that I could reliably correlate it to. It says “C.F. Sullivan & Co Boston, Mass.” and since the seam does not continue through the top, I take that to mean it is before 1910? All I could find online was one site that...

Finds from a dig last summer

I don't remember finding cans in the spot where I found all these bottles, but there was another spot further back in the woods that had bottles and trash from the 1960s ish and there were some rusty beer cans from around that decade there. I do remember finding a Gulf can, motor oil or...

Finds from a dig last summer

I realized I never posted the bottles I found during a dig I did last summer! Dug in the woods behind some cabins that are more than 100 years old, found the spot because the ground was slightly sunken and there was some broken glass on the surface. I believe they are all 1920s-30s, but if...

Newcastle Brown Ale bottle, vintage or nothing special?

Thank you for your reply! I just happened to see this one while walking in the woods, noticed it wasn't a screw top and decided to hold onto it just in case it was something interesting. I haven't had much time to do actual digging lately, but I do have a small collection of bottles I've found...

Newcastle Brown Ale bottle, vintage or nothing special?

Hi everyone, I hope i'm posting this in the right place. I found a bottle laying on the surface in the woods today, it says "The One and Only" and from what I have found online it seems to be a Newcastle Brown Ale bottle. What I don't know is if it is from the 1950s ish, when they used to be...

Deposit 32 oz. screw cap deposit bottles and a couple of others...

I found this evolution of the dr. pepper logo, can't be 100% sure it's accurate but if it is, this might help date them. It seems like the one with the 10, 2, 4 is from the 1950s, the one in the oval is from the 1970s and the smaller one with the rectangular logo is 1980s, cool finds!

    Hi from Massachusetts!

Hello, I am new to the bottle digging community! I've always taken interest in old things, and I have a few old bottles that have been found over the years. I recently found one when I wasn't even looking, and it got me interested in learning more about what I have and hopefully finding more...
