Looking for three piece mold whiskey cylinders (1860-1870) with the following base markings. Open to trade or cash deals.[attachment=Star Base Ad Final s2m.jpg]
About two years ago a seller on eBay had three or four labeled 1860s whiskey cylinders for sale. The labels indicated they were from the east coast. Does anyone know who the seller was, or any idea who may have bid on them ? Thanks
School Census Marshall San Francisco. This was recently found in a turn of the century layer. Has anyone ever seen one from California or any other state ? I've spoken with a few collectors and so far it appears to be unique.
Fantastic dig ! What led you to this dump, do you feel it is commercial or residential refuse ? Is there any chance this dump could go as old as 1880, or is the history associated with the source of the refuse post 1900 ? Keep working it !
Mike, if you want to try it, select the "Local Pickup" option and I'll get it out to you, just give me your shipping address. You been digging out there with the lack of snow ?
As "common" as the Wormsers are, I've dug few pieces. I've dug four broken ones, including one that was 90% there, PURE...
You know what, I am going to try to offer free samples at some of the larger west coast bottle shows in the coming year. I'll do Reno and Auburn for sure. Do you guys have any Molinari Salami in your part of Nevada ?
