1860s Hotel privy !! paving the lot

Hey Heavy, Id advise against digging unless you have determined what utilities are under the lot if there are any. Here in PA its a state law that you must call...and they will come out and mark out known utilities. I work in construction, mainly excavation, but we also do plenty of...

Crock

This fine piece was found while digging out an old sea wall in the Delaware river...its in perfect condition. I am unable to read most of the imprint...but I can make out the word "London"...any ideas?

Star of David marking?

Hey Ron, That star might just be a trademark from that particular bottler...I have a few hutches myself with stars on them...I dont think its for any specific bottler though. Vince

The Kovels book lists dozens of Mason fruit jars and Im unable to determine which on it really is. *shrug*

Hey Matt I have that same bottle...I read in Kovels price guide that there are 3 versions...a green, an apple green? and an aqua. The first 2 are worth a pretty penny but the aqua (the one I have of course :( ) is only 8$...what gives?

Information on early X-Bazin Philadelphia bottle

Roussel is mainly a water/soda company but Ive never seen a snuff with that name on it. Looks like a good catch. 99% of my bottles are from Philadelphia...kinda obvious since I live here :)

ink bottle? any help?

Is that a large Bromo? I have a 5 inch Bromo but it dosent have that 2nd ring...I also have a 4inch ABM bromo and a 4inch Bromo Caffeine...Its bromotastic!

Digital Camera--New or Used ??

I have a refurbished Kodak DC3800 2.1 MP with digital zoom only. Its a decent little cam with compact flash cards... gets the job done!
