RE: jar with no mold seams????need info of how they did it. ok, someone contacted me saying it is possibly a paste mold, maybe even a snap mold. they said it would be kind of rare if it is since there is embossing on the base. so what can i do to determine for sure what kind of mold this came...

what do you use to mark your bottles?

who sells grease pens??? thanks. also the marks, will they stay on for years????

what do you use to mark your bottles?

i heard of sharpies, painters pens. whats the best thing that will stay on for years and wont harm the bottle?

RE: jar with no mold seams????need info of how they did it. that sounds about right, you can tell that it was twisted in one direction, thanks so much!!!!

does anyone have info on this??? this jar came from a lot i dug the other day, i have maybe 2 others like it from the same lot, the lot contained apocarth and chem bottles from around late 1800's from a old mining town. there are no seams period on this guy. no makers marks, very very few...

making this short i found alot of old chem bottles and jars, the ones with stoppers are embossed with thier once chemical contents and have whitall tatum co, pat May 7, 1878. on bottom. small jars W.T.on bottom , and large jars have B&AC co on bottom. i know of all the manufactures, are the...
