1965 MD Hillbilly Bottles - Can anyone help me understand the markings and the values

I have that book, a lot of work went into it. You won't regret getting it. I got mine on Amazon.

Hi - Thanks for the compliment on the cup shelf. I wasn't sure it would work but came out ok. I started hanging things on the ceiling a few years ago, the items would just be stacked up or in a box otherwise. Push pins work well for light weight items, I put the pins along the side being careful...

There's no city information on the bottle but I found out the company was based in Islington, MA. There's also a Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton, MA., and it was founded by four brothers with poor eyesight. The two cities are about 50 miles apart. The Myopia Club is supposed to be the oldest...

I'm 99% out of room to display things, and had to come up with an idea to display the cups I just got. Went to Menard's and bought a few U-Bolts and a piece of plastic trim. Used false ceiling hooks to hold the U-Bolts and used the trim for the shelf. Only used two of the U-Bolts though. Worked...

I've not posted in a long time, but recently went to a couple bottle shows and try to hit antique malls in my spare time. I might be retiring next April and it will give me more time to get out and look around. I've always been a collector of ACLs, commemoratives (except the 8 oz. Cokes)...

The Rest of My 7Up Collection

I've had this brown 7up bottle for a long time and always had my suspicions about it being altered. I don't know of any legitimate 10 oz. 7up brown bottles but it's a neat addition to the collection none the less.

These two glasses are from the Tom Joyce Company, featuring Japanese girls. I know of five different glasses, but only have these two examples and only saw these one time in a shop. Not the best with the paint loss but these have to be pretty rare.

The Rest of My 7Up Collection

Some of the harder to get 7up commemorative bottles, and a few others. The bottle in the second picture is a stage bottle, pulled from the line before the rest of the graphics were applied. Next to it is a 7up bottle for the Tulane Green Wave and looks to be etched. The clear glass 7up bottles...

The Rest of My 7Up Collection

This is the Developer Marketing Conference bottle from 1977. It came with the stand, plaque and mobile, which represents a finely balanced performance. The bottles show up from time to time but not always the other two pieces. Also pictured is the box and letter from 7up's president. These...

The Rest of My 7Up Collection

Several of my eight bubble bottles, embossed, and a few others. The center bottle in the last picture says "Property of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Roseburg, Roseburg, Ore."

A few more. The second picture; The Cricket and Millie show is from a short lived television station in the St. Louis area in the 1950s. It was only on the air a few months. Did a bit of research and from what I read, Cricket is supposed to be the voice of Elinor Donahue who played Ellie Walker...

7up signs, clock, calendar, cardboards, etc. etc. The award plaques are from Decatur, IL. The last picture is a school booklet from Missouri.

The Rest of My 7Up Collection

Had a bit of time this afternoon and took a few pictures of some of my 7up collection. These are most of my foreign bottles. The white bottle is from Montreal for the grand opening of a new bottling plant in 1974. The glass and paper cup goes along with it.

What's the deal, why all but worthless?!

Hi everyone Had a few minutes today and took pictures of the two commemorative soft drink bottle books I referenced with my post from March 12. They were published by Florene Pitcock of Ohio in the 1970s, a lot of effort was put into making these books. The various soda companies were contacted...
