WTB Pepsi and Original Coke Hutches

Pepsi hutch above is still for sale. Might be interested in a trade on some nice black glass, but primarily interested in early pieces pre-1770s, English onions, mallets, continental long necks, earlier cylinder forms, and the like. Feel free to contact me if interested.

    Want Arkansas sodas

Have the following that came out of the Jim Houston collection several years ago. Jim was a Fort Smith collector and wrote up an article that included mention of many of these. Crowns unless otherwise noted. Article Link...

HB? on bottom of Balt. loop top turned mold

Are there any seams from the shoulder up toward the top ? Maybe very light seams, or "ghost seams" ? Hard to be sure, but looks like a 3-piece mold from the pic, which is basically a dip mold from the shoulder downward, and a two-piece neck mold toward the top. I guess technically though, it...

HB? on bottom of Balt. loop top turned mold

Not going to be a turn mold bottle with an embossed base. More likely a dip mold if there are no side seams, or a cup mold if there are.

    Early Shaft & Globe

Hi Steve, Yes, all early shaft & globe bottles are rare, regardless of their size. I think he was pointing out the odd "shortness" of this one, but it sure does have a lot of surface vitrification. The two long open bubbles sure don't add to its appeal either. The taller bottle he shows...

    Early Shaft & Globe

Here is a very early black glass form that you don't often see, much less for sale on eBay. (not my auction) http://cgi.ebay.com/ENGLISH-SHAFT-GLOBE-WINE-BOTTLE-c-1660-SHORT-NECK-/370412056625?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Collectables_Bottle_Pots_ET&hash=item563e477031

WTB Pepsi and Original Coke Hutches

I know where there is a very near mint, un-tumbled Birmingham Coca-Cola script for sale, but it ain't cheap. None of the Coke or Pepsi script hutches are going to show up at the local flea market for 10 bucks. These are rare bottles with a HUGE collector base. Last Birmingham Coke hutch I saw...

    Green Round Bottom

Any "applied" crown top is a relatively scarce bottle as they were made for a much shorter period of time than earlier blob/Hutchinson/gravity stopper tops or the later tooled or machine crowns. Many of the applied crown top bottles are of British or European origin. American made applied...
