    Few more unknowns

[attachment=4 bottles for appraisal_opt (1).jpg] Here's a couple more I'm not finding much info on..... The amber bottle ( 6 1/2" tall ) is fluted 1/2 way around and plain the other half. The 6 1/2" green one beside it has E B &C Co Ltd on the bottom, the 2 barrel bottles ( mustard ?) are 5"...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

I apologize Eric - you're right !! I didn't realize it was Amazon Canada, so when I clicked on the shipping policy it said $14.98 international, which I took to mean outside the USA.That's probably the way to go then - I've never dealt through Amazon before, so will have to set up an...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Looks like the Putnam books are $13.00 shipping to Canada. There is a 1997 BOTTLES IDENTIFICATION AND PRICE GUIDE for $10.00 and $11.00 for shipping, works out about the same but has over double the pages....( for what that's worth ! ).The books from Amazon are $15.00 shipping to Canada. I'll...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Well - far as boring me......No ; I don't know if I'll ever get into 'collecting' bottles or not - but it is very interesting learning about them none the less. Guess ideally - for now at least - if I could get to a place where I could look things up on my own without having to rely 100% on...

My philosophy is that once you get to know everything, then you have to forget some things to make room for new. Make sense ???

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Ever since I owned a computer ( 15 years now ) anything I needed a log-in to I wrote down in a little book. If I ever lost that book I'd have to start all over again !! ( dreaded thought ). Also, usually there is a prompt to ask you if you forgot your user name or password, and the website will...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Thanks Eric - I'm more along the lines right now of the 'non-collector' attitude ; that being if it looks old and "purdee" then it must be valuable !! I look at the sea of bottles (mixed in with some insulators ) that I was given to sell and I think "Where do I start " ? The person that had...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Well thanks Jim - I really appreciate you taking the time to pass all that on - I'll just keep going with the websites I have and like you say, someday I'll get to recognize the shapes a little better to at least have a starting point !One of these times when we go down to Jalapenos in Sandpoint...

    Couple more unmarked bottles (?)

Hello everyone,I have 2 more bottles I'm wondering about. Also, can you recommend a good website where I ( not knowing much about bottles ) could go and scroll through photo's to try find what I'm looking for. Tall order; I know ; but would possibly save bothering everyone with mundane posts !Tnks
