Hi Andy- I probably was at the 1994 Balto show. I set up there as a dealer for over 25 years starting in 1989. Will send PM to see if I have such a bottle!

Hello bottlecrazy, Ginger Ale Collector here, otherwise known as Ken. You have found what I think is a quite rare ginger ale bottle! While I haven't gone and searched the business records for 1885 in New York, I can add a twist to the Fitzsimons story. First, in all of my years collecting ginger...
Hey New Jersey soda bottle collectors- check this out! Heckler's auction is offering a smooth-based G & B Hackettstown N.J. in a very rare, "smokey" blue color. https://www.hecklerauction.com Note, the auction opens 6/23 but there is no preview, it just goes live. Thought you'd like to know...

Hello all. Ginger Ale Collector here. Having studied the round bottom bottle for a number of years I found that this site (link at end of post) has the most complete and well-documented information on the subject. (The site is also excellent for all kinds of information on old bottles.)
Also...

I haven't been real active over the last few years in ABN as other demands in life have taken priority. I was going through ABN looking for things about ginger ale that I might have missed.
I found a ginger ale in a post that I need to replace. In the post here it is...
Duh. Somehow I missed the obvious fact that the Gold Seal Ginger Ale bottle had already been posted and an ad as well. Dunno how I missed that, but I did. In any case, I will say that in the years I have been collecting ginger ales, I've only seen a few of these, so it is rare in my experience...
Hello all- just picked up this post- and yes I remember being shown the Sunnyside Ginger ale bottle from Narragansett. And I have not seen another, and yes, they most certainly made ginger ale during prohibition. While the bottle may date from 1920, the label may be later. The graphics and...
Hi Kevin, I never took the time to research the bottle, and mine is buried in a box somewhere, so your addition of the marks is helpful to be sure. At the time I was wondering about the origin of the bottle, we did not have the luxury and benefit of David Whitten's extraordinary website on...
dw3000, of course you are right, if the bottle was made in Canada by Owens Illinois, it would more than likely have the diamond "D". However, it is possible that a Canadian bottler might have used a bottle not made in Canada. But, I think it is more likely that I did not recall correctly where...
