I have a JJ Richards torpedo that is embossed jj Richards on one side and soda on the other....the embossing is identical as is the shape and color of the bottle...I am not sure where this early nova scotia manufacturer would have gotten his bottles from! cheers!
I am looking for nova scotia torpedo bottles...to buy or trade for I have a torpedo that has SODA on one side and WATER on the other....I am convinced that this was used by a local manufacturer....I would love any thoughts or info from any seasoned collectors! cheers!
haha I thought it looked like an alien....I do not own the bottle...did not want to buy it because I was unsure...is it new? the seem stops very low on the neck...I thought it was old
This is a fairly common James Roue ginger beer , it is an internal thread.....still an awesome find, especially with the contents! I usually clean mine up...but if I found one like that I would leave it, I think it looks awesome. congrats!

how does he do such a good job of blending the paint? or is it over painted?
is there any tips on material to use , like what type of paint?

thanks for the replys everyone , i will look into trying the water putty. I don't think i would be interested in professional repairs unless i get a really rare bottle , most of the gingerbeers i have are bottom to mid range and i would really like to do it...
