You know the rental situation is bad when you make 78k in a year and your homeless. Well, by choice l just couldn't bring myself to paying 1800 a month onto a strangers mortgage just for a crappy apartment in a basement sorry your stuck with a 25 year sentence from your bank buddy. So l lived in my car for a year and a bit. Saved every f-ing dime. Bought a boat and quit. It's a 40f comercial fishing vessel which in Canada gives me $130 a month moorage at any government warf. Spent all summer turning diesel into smoke and noise. Caught a lot of salmon watched a lot of sunsets. I escaped white slavery and have never felt better.
