Embossed Worley's Beverages Selma, NC....how old?

Although I realize this is from many years ago, I figured I'd reply in case people search and find this as I did. I have one that is from 1955. The date code should be on the bottom of these bottles.

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

I wanted to add a few newspaper ads that I took out of old Bristol, VA/TN newspapers. My daughter and I made a collage a couple of years ago. I wish I had done a better job of recording the dates. I do have some estimates since I still have the papers, but they are just estimates, unless the...

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

So, guess what I came across today? I found (and purchased) ANOTHER ROOT 30 Pat'd Nov 16, 1915 bottle with Cincinnati and Cleveland O. on the base. Also interesting that I noticed "1FN" before the ROOT, similar to what you mentioned above. I also got my first Ice Blue bottle Pat'd Nov. 16...

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

I'd like to see the base of the Farmville, VA. The base of my New Bern is different from the typical arch city with thick letters that most early bases have. I don't believe I've seen another with the City straight across.

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

Here are some pics. I bought it for the Patent Date. I remember being really surprised by the date and was happy it was a ROOT bottle. Always like adding ROOT bottles. It's a very dark green color as well and seems heavier than usual.

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

I am certain. I have some pics, but the "30" is cutoff beside ROOT, so I'm going to retake that and I'll upload a few pics in an hour or so. My oldest Hobbleskirt is a 1918 with No Town by Graham Glass Co. (prior to Owens) with 576ER on the heel.

    Help with Hobbleskirt ID

I have a ROOT bottle from 1930 (New Bern, NC) that has the Nov. 16, 1915 patent. Has to be the newest bottle with that Patent date.

Better beverages embossed bottle weldon bottling co.

I enjoyed reading all of that. Bob does some amazing research. I picked up this same bottle at an auction yesterday and was searching to see if I could find anything about it. Seems like after all these years, this is still the most information available. I guess this is a pretty rare and...

Orange Crush Amber "Krinkly" Dating Help

I’ve enjoyed reading about the L64 Crush bottles and wonder if anyone figured anything out. I have a wrinkle to throw in that wasn’t covered and why I stumbled upon this thread. I have two Orange Crush bottles by Glenshaw Glass (G in a square followed by 62). One is Amber Krinkly and the other...

Amber Straight Sided Coca-Cola Bottle Maker?

Do you have a source or other example for that? Southern Glass Co. was in San Francisco. Doesn’t seem right. They did have a star at some point, but it looks different and later than this bottle.

Amber Straight Sided Coca-Cola Bottle Maker?

This is the Amber Straight Sided Coca Cola bottle with the vertical arrows on each side from Knoxville, TN. It was sold as made by "ROOT." However, I don't see ROOT anywhere on this bottle. There is nothing on the bottom. It's blank. No Coca-Cola or any marks. The only mark I see looks like...

Orange Crush Amber Krinkly Glenshaw Glass Company

I’ve also noticed that this logo seems to only be on the Glenshaw bottles with this 1974 mold. The old Angelfire article by Michael Rodman calls it “arms outstretched - pie eye, mouth.” Others with arms outstretched have the arms slightly raised, while these are more straight. I’ve looked...

Orange Crush Amber Krinkly Glenshaw Glass Company

So, you agree that the code is a “D?” It’s difficult to tell. I also thought they quit making these in 1955, but I guess there are some exceptions. I haven’t seen many Crush bottles by Glenshaw.

Orange Crush Amber Krinkly Glenshaw Glass Company

Forgive me if it’s here, but I’ve read pages and pages about the dates of these Orange Crush Amber Krinkly bottles. I’ve also read a lot about the lip codes of Glenshaw Glass Company. I can’t find any example of this bottle, except a few on eBay where they assume, like I did, that it’s from...
