Does anyone know what bottling company would have C B (you can faintly make it out) embossed on the base of a fruit or pickle jar from the 1860s or 70s? It was found at a ND fort. Picture reduced in size - Admin- hgirl

What kind of bottle is it?
I need to know what this bottle was used for. I do not have a picture yet. It is a bluish color (chemicals probably used on it have made it now very shiny and streaky looking) with the letters, CB, on the bottom. It is about 20 cm tall (with a 6 cm neck).
