Help with identity please

Yes, it runs from the bottom edge, to almost the top, stopping about 1/4 in from the top. Held up to the light, both bottles are dark brown as in a beer bottle but darker.

Help with identity please

Hi folks! I recently came into possession of 2 bottles. The shorter one has very dark brown glass, has a seam up to the neck, then what looks to me like an applied top. It is 5 inches tall and approximately 2.75 inches wide. The other bottle is 10 inches high, approximately 3.5 inches wide...

Thanks for that info... it's surprising to know! Do you know of anyone that would like to own this bottle? I am not a collector per se, just a finder of old things who likes to move things on to those that are really interested in them.

Picked this up today and can't find any info....Help?

It's a Red Seal Bottling Wks Fitchburg Mass bottle, but I can't seem to find much info on the company. I'm pretty new to bottle identifying, so any help would be appreciated. I'm guessing it belongs in this forum from the little I know about the subject, but it could belong in the after 1900...
